Well, it has been decided here that I am just going to quilt my challenge top as is  ... (need to get some sage green thread to do a stipple in the open areas) ... and add a green binding  and hang it on the wall in my dining room.

My DH keeps saying he likes it the way it is and it just looks "finished" to him. LOL I had found some of the lovely wide stripe border fabric from the Laurel line at the quilt show over the weekend and was going to add an outer border, but my DH says it is "too much" ... so will just use it for the backing fabric...

or ... I may make a tablecloth ... I think I have enough to either use it for the center or cut it for a border ...  this fabric is a lovely match my sage green marbled walls ... hmmmmm   Pat

sounds like DH has good taste!  the tablecloth to match seems like a perfect complement to your new wallhanging!
