I got a late start too (had to watch QIAD, Quilting Arts, Sewing w/ Nancy, I love Tivo!!), it's my Saturday morning 'must do'. Got F&F all cut out (except for borders) but had to make fabric changes because my pkg. didn't make it today. Took 4 hours to cut and my knees and wrist are killing me. I took a wee break and got through 3 steps (all of which will be up around 4 or 5 March, or whenever 'it's time'.) I'm getting very excited to see how this is going to look!

I had a Sew for YOURSELF WEEKEND :) I got the Pooh quilt binding finished, and just as I tied it off the postman delivered my kit for the mystery quilt, so I got started with the cutting of that, which took most of the day, since I was also tending to all 3 boys by myself. I got just over halfway through all the steps this weekend, and y'all are gonna love this! It goes together soooooo nicely. I've hardly had to use my seam ripper at all, and that's only because I didn't pay attention to what I was doing.

I can't wait to see the finished product!!

I also spent some time brainstorming of what all I can make out of this ABU camo fabric. I wanted to give alot of options to the person interested in the bedding I made. I came up with bibs, diaper bag/tote bags, christmas stockings, receiving blanket sized quilts, and someone made a car seat cover and a shopping cart cover so I may see about finding patterns for those to see how difficult they are to make. I still have like 8 yards of the fabric left :)

Heehee, me too, Jenn! Sat. I finished quilting my friend's baby quilt and made my guild BOMs, and yesterday I quilted 2 Sweet Child quilts and finished the binding on the baby quilt. It felt really good to finally get something DONE!
